Royal Oak is any kitchen connaisseurs dream. Not just for the chef in you but for it’s stunning bright and modern design By Samantha Thomas from Inhabit Interiors, built and installed by Chris Craft.
As you enter the open space you immediately notice the contrast with the grain matched rift cut white oak doors on the upper cabinets paired with the painted white lower door and drawer fronts for a true unique blend of material and style.
This modern kitchen is all about customization and features to fit the clients vision and lifestyle. From the beautifully crafted floating shelves for display and functionality to the maple dovetail drawers that feature custom cutlery and utensil dividers as well as soft closing doors and drawer slides. Not to mention the custom hood cabinet over the range that blends beautifully into the rest of the doors. No detail goes unnoticed in this kitchen design build.
In a well designed kitchen, lighting is a key component in the overall look and feel of the space. For additional lighting we incorporated under cabinet lighting with light boxes to accept wiring and transformers.
To maximize storage and practicality, this kitchen features a full height pantry with rollouts and additional shelving. We added additional hidden storage on the backside of the peninsula with rollouts behind the door. We incorporated an appliance garage on the counter to store small appliances such as toaster ovens and coffee makers. A custom unit was built and designed to store the not so visually pleasing garbage and recycling beside the sink.
